How can I keep track of the # of times my page is visited? i.e. visit count (as in eBay or MySpace)?

The number of 'profile views' in myspace, or the page visit # on the eBay seller page, is what I'm trying to install into my page, i.e. HTML or JavaScript coding. I don't need it to be visible on the page, as long as it can be found when the source is viewed or something similar. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you're looking for the fastest counter that just counts the basic number of views. Go for http://www.fastwebcounter.com/

But if you want a more complex counter that can track more stuff. Go for http://www.statcounter.com/

Have fun with the counters.

not sure on ebay but on myspace it tells you under your user picture. it reads "Profile Views" and you can reset the number in your account settings if you want.
